Doc, a.k.a. Dr. Brown, has started a small business in the future – a time travel agency. As with most of his plans, things didn’t go quite smoothly, and you and your team are now stuck in 1855, in Hill Valley.
The backup plan for such cases is to activate the spare time machine he left behind – which will send you to the 1980s – and from there, you can return to the present using the DeLorean.

There are several situations: if you are very close to completing the game, it may be possible to finish it even after the time has expired. If there are still many puzzles left, you will usually receive some help to complete the game. In the case that the time has been significantly exceeded and the game needs to be prepared for the next team, the game must be ended.
The room doors are not physically locked, so the play area can be exited at any time. In the event of a power outage, all electronic locks open automatically. Indicator lights always show the evacuation route. Sufficient fire extinguishers are available for emergencies. Events in the rooms are monitored via cameras, so the staff can intervene quickly if necessary.
