Prices & booking
How much does an escape room in Timișoara cost at Exit Games?
The standard price is 85 lei per person for online booking, Monday to Sunday, public holidays included. You can lower it with promo codes or by using a voucher. See Prices & info.
What are your opening hours?
Monday 12:00–20:00, Tuesday–Friday 12:00–21:30, Saturday 10:00–21:30, Sunday 10:00–20:00. We are open every day, including public holidays. Booking is required: book online.
How do I book an escape room?
Book online or by phone at +40 747 789 245. Online booking shows the free time slots for every room right away.
How can I pay?
Pay online by card via EuPlătesc, or on site in cash or by card. Companies can also pay by bank transfer.
How do I cancel or reschedule?
Please cancel at least 24 hours before your game, by email or phone. We work by reservation and our staff come in especially for your team, so if you can't make it, let us know and we can offer the slot to other players.
What if more or fewer people come than we booked for?
The price is recalculated on site based on how many people actually play, whether more or fewer than you booked. Your booking discount, whether a percentage or a fixed amount, still applies to the recalculated price. The price in the email confirmation is only an estimate.
The game
How long does an escape room game last?
The game lasts 60 minutes. Before it there's a short rules briefing and time for the toilet and getting ready, so please arrive 10–15 minutes early.
What if we're late?
You can be up to 15 minutes late. After that, the next team's game may be at risk if someone is booked after you, so please call us at +40 747 789 245. If you're 30 minutes late, we may not be able to start the game.
Is it scary?
Most of our rooms are puzzle adventures with no horror and no jump scares: the adrenaline comes from cracking the puzzles, not from fear. The exception is Horror Hospital 2, which has real jump scares and is not recommended for under-14s, even with an adult.
Are we locked in? Is it safe?
You're never really locked in: the doors aren't physically locked and you can leave any time by pressing the button by the door. In a power cut the electric locks open automatically, and the game is monitored on camera so staff can step in quickly. Video is not recorded.
Is it dark inside? Do we need physical strength?
No, the room is lit throughout the game. You don't need strength, just thinking, creativity and teamwork.
What if we don't escape in 60 minutes?
If you're very close, you may be able to finish even after time is up. If many puzzles are left, you'll usually get help to finish. If you're well over time and we need to reset the room for the next team, the game ends.
Can we play the escape room in English?
Absolutely. The games are designed so you can solve them with basic English, or in Romanian.
Which room is best for beginners? Which is the hardest?
For beginners we recommend Circus and Bank Robbery. Our hardest rooms right now are Sherlock and Back To The Future, best for larger, well-coordinated, experienced teams.
Are the rooms air-conditioned and heated?
Yes, every room has air conditioning, and in winter we have central heating. We aim for a comfortable temperature in summer and winter alike.
Age & groups
How many people can play in one room?
Rooms are for 2–8 players; the exact number is in each room's description. For Prison Break we recommend 2–7, but if 8 of you come, we'll find a solution. 9 people in one room isn't possible, and the game can't be played solo.
Can children play? What is the minimum age?
The minimum age differs by room and is listed in each room's description. No written parental consent is needed, but if anyone on the team is under 12, an adult (18+) must play with them. Horror Hospital 2 is not recommended for under-14s, even with an adult.
How many people can play at once? Do you do team building in Timișoara?
We have 7 rooms, up to 8 players each (Prison Break 7), so we can host up to 55 people at the same time; with our next room this grows to 63. For team building and large groups we make a custom offer: see Team building.
Birthdays & parties
Can I hold a birthday party at the escape room?
Yes! Cake is welcome by prior arrangement, ideally pre-sliced. Bottled soft drinks or water can go into the rooms; cans only in the waiting lounge or on the terrace, so the floors don't get sticky. Pizza and other strong-smelling food only by prior arrangement and not at peak times (we avoid Friday–Sunday).
Vouchers & discounts
How do I buy an escape room gift voucher?
Vouchers are sold online and paid by card via EuPlătesc. You get a colour PDF you can print and hand over or forward by email. Vouchers are valid for 90 days.
I have a voucher for 2 but more of us are coming. Can I use it?
Yes, the voucher is used in full and you only pay the difference for the extra players. When booking online, enter the voucher code and number of players, and the difference is calculated automatically.
Are there any discounts?
It's worth looking: we post offers on social media, in Google offers, in emails and on the website. Discounts can be a percentage or a fixed amount in lei off the standard price.
Location & access
Where can I park?
The nearest parking is on Rusu Sireanu Street. From 08:00 to 20:00 parking is paid (Zone 2, yellow): text 7406 in the format 112 TM00ABC (hours + plate number), €0.42/hour. After 18:00 traffic in the area increases and finding a spot can take up to 10 minutes.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately not: there are several steps in the building. We've welcomed wheelchair users before, but help is needed getting in. In that case The Mission 3 and Bank Robbery are the easiest rooms to reach.
